An important part of Pyne and Smith is collaborations, which means getting dresses on ladies who identify with my style, and can share their style with like minded friends and followers. Brands do it a lot on Instagram, and it wasn't something I even knew about until several months into the business. I have been fairly cautious, because I'm a little opposed to being sales-y, it has to be a true compliment and fit for my dresses. I came across @ohhoneybakes on Instagram, and if you guys don't follow them, you might want to take a look. I am so grateful to discover and work with inspirational, creative women. My most favorite of these, and quite honestly, something of a end goal, was a opportunity to see dresses on Tiffany of Oh Honey Bakes, and Christi, of Woven magazine. I love to see my dresses on 'real women' as opposed to models. The seamless overlap of hard working mama's, inspirational girl bosses and basically fearless, independent woman, wearing my dresses, is humbling and amazing.
Tiffany creates the most amazing cakes, and shares her recipes. For the shoot, she made a Cranberry and Orange cake, and you guys, it's so yummy and perfect for chilly spring days! I made it two weeks ago and it was devoured (it didn't last the day with me around.) You can visit Tiffany here: http://ohhoneybakes.com/cranberry-orange-cake/
