Summer Styling Tips for Linen Dresses

Hot, sunny weather has arrived, and now we reach for linen. Why? It's unique properties wick away moisture, allowing air to circulate around our body and keep us cool. Breathability is the magical component behind natural fiber textiles, Linen is one of the oldest know textiles that humans have been wearing for thousands of years (the oldest know piece of linen was found in a cave, dating back some 10,000 years ago.)

Linen is widely worn and embraced in all of Europe, but not nearly as popular in the US. The laborious and extensive production of linen make it a more costly textile to produce, which is more of an investment, but that investment (consider it an asset!) will give back to you over the years. Synthetic textiles don't breathe, so they can overheat you, and then pill after 1 or 2 wears - but linen (taken care of) will last you for decades, possibly generations. It ages beautifully, becomes softer with age and is biodegradable, no micro-plastics to worry about.
