Spring Shoes Style Guide

Spring Shoes Style Guide

Shoes are our second biggest love to dresses. They are a vital statement accessory that can change the look of an entire outfit simply by adding more personality; giving your ensemble a whole new feel. The beauty of a Pyne & Smith linen dress is that it can adapt to many different looks and good shoes is the key to transforming your outfit from a quirky layered look to mature academic, or even a carefree wanderer to schoolgirl punk.

Here are some of our favourite staple (and long lasting) shoes to style with your linen garments this season:

 Nisolo Lima Slip On

Pyne and Smith Saffron linen culottes styled with leather mule sandals

Our favorite hot weather mules. These shoes are elegant and subtle. They can make an outfit dressy or casual and are effortless to throw on. They also come in some beautiful shades that go with just about everything!

 Mohinders Woven Sandals

The texture of these woven sandals pairs beautifully with natural crinkly linen. Perfect for wearing on hot summer days, they are lightweight and easy to pack making them the ideal holiday sandal.

Avarcus Pons Classic Style

These are easily our most worn sandals. They are incredibly comfortable with rubber soles and soft leather. Crafted in Spain with a beautiful Mediterranean look, they also come in many wonderful colors.

Dr Martens 1461 Oxford Shoes

Dr Martens are our go to shoes when we are feeling a little rebellious. Chunky oxfords are a great addition to a textured linen dress, transforming it from a light ethereal outfit to British punk. We exchange our Doc boots for these oxfords in the hotter months, when we aren't quite in the mood for sandals.

Lotta from Stockholm

Another classic sandal alternative are some original Lotta clogs. Another shoe we swear by, with a slight heel but still surprisingly comfortable enough to wear all day and so cute to style with tights and colorful socks.
